Modern Puppenhaus

I had this brain tickle for a while now. Let me give you a bit of back story. When I started in miniatures I read and reread all the old books written by Flora Gill Jacobs. she always started with a description of the early babyhouses or puppenhaus. Being an antique dealer I figured how hard could it be to find one. (I'm still looking for an original) Fast forward,

I decided to make my own, after filling a note book with sketches and measurements I finally found a way to create a puppenhaus and recycle at the same time.

I deal in furniture everyday, so it was easy to find the FREE on Facebook Marketplace an old TV armoire, not for flat screens but for the large, heavy tv's from the 1990's. I added room boxes to fill the space and I think it's coming along nicely. I'm about 25 hours and $85 in supplies. I'll keep you updated with my progress and always remember to think outside the (room) box!
